  5. The compact desktop unit accommodates a wide range of input signal levels, from digital musical instruments to microphones and CD players, making it a flexible tool in any mixing application - computer systems, AV systems, home recording or live performance.

  7. STEREO 5-CHANNEL 10-INPUT SYSTEM
  8. Each of the four channels has a stereo pair of RCA inputs. Channels 1 and 2 also have 1/4" phone jacks (L/R), and can accept a full range of line to mic levels (+4 to -50 dBm).

  10. The MX-5 also has a stereo AUX IN, providing a total of 10 inputs, for directly connecting a CD Player or stereo audio device.

  12. Each of the four stereo channels has a balance and input sensitivity control, in addition to its volume fader.

  14. FLEXIBLE OUTPUT OPTIONS
  15. The MX-5 has two pairs of master stereo outs, 1/4" phone jacks and RCA outputs, and is also equipped with a pair of stereo REC OUTs (RCA), for direct recording to cassette/DAT/DCC decks and MD recorders.

  18. The total structure and layout of the MX-5 has been specially designed to make it easy for anyone to use it in a variety of mixing situations.

  20. The volume faders ensure smooth operation, as both left and right channels can be simultaneously controlled by a single fader, making the MX-5 a great mixer for controlling AV systems such as video recorders, CD/LD players and Karaoke systems.

  22. It is also perfect for mixing computer music applications from PC audio outputs, external CD-ROM drives, CD-Audio units, and PC sound boards.

  24. You can adjust the headphones volume independently for headphone monitoring of the overall mix, and there are overload indicators (L/R) to check input levels.

  26. Plus, the MX-5 can even be operated by batteries, making it ideal for portable mixing applications.
